Smallest waves around Kahekili Beach Park. Honolua Bay has clear visibility with mostly small waves further up the point. The roads are flooding & many roads are closed throughout the Zone. Kapalua Bay & part of the left side of Honolua are looking alright. 3 mi. The waves could start to pick up later. Patches of blue sky mixed with scattered showers. Mostly sunny with light winds likely all day. **Wind Advisory for Maui County-Hazardous driving conditions due to powerful cross winds will pose a serious risk for drivers. There is a slight chance of scattered showers later but most likely it willstay sunny. Kahekili Beach is great this morning but afternoon winds could cause strong currents flowing out to sea. The south face of Black Rock has a nice pocket of calm water and Kahekili Beach Park is looking good in the AM. Partly sunny with strong winds & isolated showers. As usual currents are stronger out near the rock tip. Kapalua Bay has the smallest waves around. Looks like sunshine for most of the day with possible scattered showers later. The north little corner of Ulua Beach will probably improve this afternoon. it could calm down for a while this morning. It is very windy & currents are super strong outside of the more wind protected areas such as Kapalua Bay & Honolua Bay. The waves are not huge but are just still too big & currents too strong for snorkeling at most beaches in Makena & Wailea. Kamaole # 1 has the smallest waves. Mile Marker 14, the south end of Kamaole # 1 & north end of Ulua have the smallest waves. A small area inside Kapalua Bay may calm down but theres a fine line where currents are very strong. However the winds are blowing right out to sea & there are some wind waves.
